By registering for the Le Minerale Surabaya Marathon 2026 ("Event"), I agree to the following Terms of Entry:

Eligibility

I certify that I am at least 12 years of age.

• Participants in the Full Marathon and Half Marathon must be at least 17 years old on the day of the Event
• Participants in the 10K and 5K categories must be at least 12 years old on the day of the Event

The Organiser reserves the right to verify the age of any participant at any time before, during, or after the Event.

If the participant is under 17 years of age:

• I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the participant
• I consent to the participant's participation in the Event
• I agree to these Terms of Entry on behalf of the participant

Registration & Entry

• The Organiser reserves the right to close entries without prior notice once capacity is reached
• Entries will only be confirmed upon receipt of full payment
• Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable
• Entries are valid only for the individual whose name and identification details are provided during registration
• The Organiser reserves the right to verify the identity of participants at any time

The Organiser reserves the right to reject or cancel any entry if false or incomplete information is provided, or if entry requirements are not met.

Event Cancellation

Should the Event be cancelled due to circumstances beyond the Organiser's control, including but not limited to severe weather conditions, natural disasters, or public disturbances, no refund of the entry fee will be provided.

The Organiser shall not be held liable for any loss or inconvenience arising from such cancellation.

Assumption of Risk & Indemnity

I acknowledge that participation in the Event involves inherent risks, including the risk of serious injury or death.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in the Event.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I:

• waive and release the Organiser and all associated parties from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising out of or in connection with my participation in the Event
• agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organiser against any such claims

This release and indemnity shall apply to my heirs, successors, executors, administrators, and assigns.

Health & Medical

I confirm that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to participate in the Event.

I acknowledge that:

• I have sought medical advice if necessary prior to participation
• I consent to receiving medical treatment deemed necessary by the Organiser or authorised personnel during or after the Event
• The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify or remove any participant deemed medically unfit

Race Participation

• I am responsible for ensuring that I wear the correct official bib number assigned to me during the Event
• I understand that failure to comply with race rules may result in disqualification
• I accept that the Race Director's decision regarding results and podium placements is final and cannot be contested

Insurance & Personal Belongings

I acknowledge and accept that:

• I am solely responsible for obtaining my own travel and medical insurance
• The Organiser is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings or equipment before, during, or after the Event

Event Capacity

I acknowledge that participant numbers are limited and entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the maximum capacity is reached.

Media & Publicity

I grant permission to the Organiser, without compensation, to use my name, image, voice, or likeness in any media for promotional, marketing, or related purposes in connection with the Event.

Amendments

I acknowledge that the Organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms of Entry at any time up to the date of the Event.

Any updates will be published on the official website, and it is my responsibility to review them.

Right of Refusal

The Organiser reserves the right to cancel the Event or refuse entry to, or participation by, any individual at its sole discretion.

Data Privacy

Surabaya Marathon respects and values the privacy of all participants.

Personal information collected during registration will be used for the administration and operation of the Event, including:

• registration and communication
• timing and results processing
• medical services
• official photography and event documentation

Personal data may also be used for:

• event-related promotions and future events
• market research and surveys

Your information may be shared with third parties involved in the delivery of the Event, including:

• medical providers
• timing partners
• official photographers
• results platforms
• authorised research partners

All personal data will be stored securely.

By registering, I consent to the collection and use of my personal information as described above.

If I choose not to provide required personal data, I understand that my registration may not be processed.

I have the right to:

• access my personal data
• request corrections
• request deletion of my data

Declaration

I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Entry and the Event Rules & Regulations.

If I am registering on behalf of a minor, I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian and accept full responsibility for the participant's compliance with these terms.
